these are my first recordings
from the early/mid-90s
they would have made up
what was to be my first release

fate changed that

i’ve spent years being ashamed of these recordings
but my brother kenny burton
never let me forget them
and then in my retirement, i listened

i heard the young, brave heart
that was determined to find his way
to hone his craft, to stumble when necessary
but to ultimately try

this began a 20 year journey
that came to an end this year
so it’s only fitting that
these songs find their way out
